The World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) recently announced that Lichtenstein had added drug prescription rights to the scope of practice in that country. Lichtenstein joins Switzerland where chiropractors also have prescriptive authority.
Following the announcement, the WFC Facebook page was inundated with complaints that the WFC was not expelling the Lichtenstein Chiropractic Association from its membership in the WFC since the WFC has a policy clearly against the incorporation of drugs into chiropractic practice.

The Lichtenstein Chiropractic Association is a Full Voting Member of the WFC and is led by Christopher Mikus, DC.
Dr. Mikus has been known to attack subluxation centered chiropractic as “pseudoscientific” - for example these comments he made in 2013:
So far there has been no outcry from any of the Summit Members or WFC members, its corporate sponsors or any of the schools that are dues paying members of the WFC and purport to be against the inclusion of drugs into chiropractic practice.
