The International Chiropractors Association (ICA) is currently holding elections for the Representative Assembly and this includes the Southern Region of the United States. The ICA Southern Region is made up of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
Lucas Matlock DC, FICA has been added to the International Chiropractic Association's upcoming ballot for the position of Southern Regional Representative. Those of you that know him know that he is not in chiropractic, chiropractic is in him.
Dr. Matlock is a Life Time Member of the ICA, the current President of the Florida Chiropractic Society (FCS), a position he has held now for 3 years. Dr. Matlock was an FCS Board Member for 11 years prior to that. He has spent the better part of the last 10-15 years traveling the country and world meeting chiropractors from all aspects of life that share the same passion for chiropractic.
I have gotten to know Dr. Matlock over the past decade and have watched and worked side by side with him during the recent battles to keep chiropractic pure in the State of Florida. Dr. Matlock has proven himself to be a guardian of the trust in Florida, has grown the Florida Chiropractic Society, revitalized it and turned it into a force to be reckoned with in one of the most important states politically for this profession.
I know I would feel much better about supporting the ICA and that the ICA will be in a much better position with Dr. Matlock in a leadership position.
He has my vote and hopefully he has yours.
