Department of Education Received 4000+ Complaints Against CCE

The Foundation has learned from personnel at the US Department of Education that 4000+ comments and 13 FOIA requests have been filed against the Council on Chiropractic Education. An announcement for renewal recognition of the CCE by the US Department of Education National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI) invited interested parties to
submit comments related to the Secretary of Education's Criteria for Recognition. This estimation of submissions demonstrates an outpouring of concern from the chiropractic profession at large regarding what is currently the defacto sole accrediting agency of chiropractic colleges in the US.
The NACIQI meeting is scheduled for December 14-16, 2011 in Alexandria, VA. Members of the public have been invited to attend.
