Three Risk Management Resolutions for the New Year
We hope this month's newsletter finds you doing well and looking forward to a happy and prosperous New Year. While chiropractors don't like to focus on the negative we believe that the concept of prevention applies to malpractice risk as much as it applies to health. So please take a minute or two to review some of our suggestions for reducing your risk while building a busy practice full of happy practice members!
While you are making your New Year Resolutions please consider adding three items related to your risk management:
1. Review your website and Facebook pages
2. Review your recordkeeping practices
3. Review your stroke/dissection screening protocol
I can promise you that these three things were the biggest problem areas for chiropractors in 2016 and 2017 will be no different.
Taking the time to review these areas of practice risk is going to save you a great deal of pain when the lawsuit is filed or the board comes knocking.
We have a number of resources for you in the Members Only section to take care of these issues and we are always available to you if you have any questions.
As always I look forward to your feedback, comments and suggestions.
