Texas Chiropractic Association Promotes Benefits of Vaccinations
The Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA) has been in the chiropractic news lately as it tries to recover from a devastating blow to its efforts to expand the scope of practice in Texas along with the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners (TBCE).
In its efforts to be more “medical” it appears the TCA has also decided to promote and endorse the practice of vaccination. In an article published in the Journal of the Texas Chiropractic Association the TCA headline reads:
“Vaccines Have Prevented 100 Million Infections Over Past 80 Years”
The article goes on to state:
In two additional articles recently published by the TCA online, the TCA promotes vaccinations for ear infections and the military’s planned use of novel methods to fight viruses.
Given the TCA’s actions to expand the scope of chiropractic into medical procedures it should not be surprising that the TCA would come out in support of vaccination programs in their effort to be more accepted.
