Dr. Kent Endorses Lucas Matlock for ICA Leadership Position
The International Chiropractors Association (ICA) is currently holding elections for the Southern Regional Director and this includes the Southern Region of the United States. The ICA Southern Region is made up of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
Lucas Matlock DC, FICA has been added to the International Chiropractic Association's upcoming ballot for the position of Southern Regional Representative. Those of you that know him know that he is not in chiropractic, chiropractic is in him. Many current and former leaders within the profession have come forward and endorsed him wholeheartedly.
The most recent endorsement comes from Christopher Kent DC, JD in a statement:
"I have had the pleasure of knowing Lucas Matlock, and working with him on Florida issues for many years. In my 44 years as a chiropractor, I've seen a lot. Rarely have I encountered a man with the steadfast commitment to chiropractic that I have seen in Lucas Matlock. He is a man of integrity.
It has been decades since I have endorsed a candidate for a chiropractic association post. Today I am encouraging eligible ICA members to vote for Lucas Matlock, who is running for Southern Regional Director.
Our profession needs leaders like Lucas Matlock to safeguard subluxation-centered chiropractic."
Dr. Matlock is a Life Time Member of the ICA, the current President of the Florida Chiropractic Society (FCS), a position he has held now for 3 years. Dr. Matlock was an FCS Board Member for 11 years prior to that. He has spent the better part of the last 10-15 years traveling the country and world meeting chiropractors from all aspects of life that share the same passion for chiropractic.
