Marketing Strategy Program Sells Out

Over 215 chiropractors, students, staff and spouses attended the Marketing Mastery Workshop with Marc Swerdlick DC in Atlanta on November 12, 2016. The event was a huge success raising $40,000.00 for the Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation (FVS).

The event was co-sponsored by the ChiroFutures Malpractice Program and Dr. Swerdlick who generously provided his services gratis. “This means that all proceeds from ticket sales went directly to the Foundation” stated Matthew McCoy DC, MPH Vice President of the FVS. “We are extremely grateful for Dr. Swerdlick's generosity and for his support of the Foundation over the past several years”.

The Strategic Plan for the Foundation for Vertebral Subluxation includes assisting chiropractors with marketing programs that are ethical, effective and fulfill public health goals related to vertebral subluxation.

This section of the Strategic Plan states:

Assist vertebral subluxation-centered chiropractors to develop effective practices that recognize the need for specificity of analysis and correction, provide the best possible chiropractic patient care, maintain high ethical standards, incorporate sound business and financial principles, and be better equipped to market themselves to their patients and community. This will be accomplished through subluxation-focused mentoring and coaching programs, business training, and the development and provision of information and resources for chiropractors wishing to maintain a subluxation-centered practice.

In addition, the ChiroFutures Malpractice Program strives to assist its insureds to develop ethical and effective marketing programs to promote their practices and the profession. “It is becoming extremely important for chiropractors to be cautious in their marketing efforts” stated Anthony Carrino DC, FICPA ChiroFutures President. “Chiropractic regulatory boards are increasing their scrutiny when it comes to advertising and marketing issues and we are thankful to Dr. Swerdlick for his efforts at steering chiropractors in the right direction on this.”

According to Dr. Christopher Kent DC, JD President of the Foundation, “Dr. Swerdlick has been a long time supporter of the Foundation and we are grateful for his efforts to help the Foundation, practicing chiropractors and students with his unique knowledge and skills related to marketing strategy.”

As you finish up the year and are looking for additional charitable contributions to make please consider the Foundation in your plans.
