New Mexico Board Chairman Denies FCPA Statement
The Florida Chiropractic Physician Association (FCPA) recently reported that chiropractors in the state of Arizona are "Going for Rx Rights." The news release included a quote from Dr. William Doggett, Chair of the New Mexico Board of Chiropractic Examiners, which reads "Let me know if you need any help with expanded practice legislation. I'll be testifying in AZ on 10-31 regarding their legislative action to expand practice rights..."
FCPA's report raised alarm from the subluxation based community and the Foundation sought clarification. Dr. Doggett stated he was misquoted in the FCPA article and that no meeting has been scheduled on expanded practice legislation in Arizona at this time.
