Chiropractors licensed by the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia submitted Resolutions to remove four elected Board Members including Jennifer Forbes DC who also serves on the Board of Trustees of Western States Chiropractic College (University of Western States).
According to records related to an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) held on July 20, 2021, the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia
". . . received multiple requests to convene the EGM from registrants totaling 15% or more of all registrants, and in conjunction with those requests, the College received four special resolutions to remove four elected Board members."
According to the text of the Resolutions:
"Dr. Forbes acted with the appearance of an apprehension of bias, conflict of interest and failure to perform fiduciary duty in serving and protecting the public . . . "
In addition to the obvious conflict of interest from her membership and participation on the Western States Board of Trustees, the Resolutions reveal that Forbes used her positions and influence to affect the votes for Board members including the Chair of the Board Johnny Suchdev by using "misinformation" and "false claims".
Forbes is further accused of using her influence to limit the use of diagnostic imaging. Forbes voted to ban the use of x-rays for the management of vertebral subluxation in her role on the CCBC.
In fact, three of the four chiropractors serving on the CCBC who voted for the ban are Western States graduates. The fourth is a graduate of Canadian Memorial.

The College of Chiropractors of British Columbia (CCBC), which is controlled by Subluxation Deniers has outright banned the use of radiographs for the evaluation and assessment of vertebral subluxation and according to the ban the only application of x-rays is to identify "serious pathology".
Forbes was not the only Board member that Registrants were seeking to oust.
Other board members in the cross hairs of an increasingly vocal faction of the chiropractors in British Columbia include:
All of these Board members, except for Anderson, are graduates of Western States where Forbes sits on the Board of Trustees. Western States and its President Joe Brimhall have a long history of attempts at changing the very nature of chiropractic towards a medical framework, primary care, and tiering of the profession. Just recently Western States has been promoting the injection of COVID vaccines by chiropractors in Oregon.
According to the March 18, 2021 minutes of the Oregon Board of Chiropractic Bill Moreau, DC, DACBSP, FACSM "Chief Medical Officer" at the University of Western States stated that Western States would "encourage and support" whatever is necessary for chiropractors to inject the experimental vaccines.

Forbes is in private practice at Heritage Chiropractic and Sports Medicine in Chilliwack BC. In addition to Forbes, the other three chiropractors practicing with her are also graduates of Western States. According to statements on their website they are engaged in the use of interventions that are in violation of the Efficacy Claims Policy of the CCBC but that should not be an issue as those who serve on the CCBC board and their friends seem to get special treatment when they violate the rules.

So out of control is the situation with the rogue Board in BC that the Registrar for the CCBC, Michelle Da Roza, was found guilty of dismissing complaints about two board members without forwarding them to the college's inquiry committee for investigation.
Brenda L. Edwards, Panel Chair of the Health Professions Review Board described Da Roza's actions as "troubling and unreasonable" and the college was ordered to conduct fresh investigations into both complaints.
One of those complaints that Da Roza was hiding was against the board Chair Johnny Suchdev.

British Columbia Chiropractors are becoming increasingly vocal about the attacks on chiropractic, personal autonomy and health freedoms.
At the 2021 Annual General Meeting of the College of Chiropractors of British Columbia (CCBC) held Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 78 per cent of those in attendance voted in favor of a resolution to "maintain the right to medical freedom of choice" for chiropractors. Incredibly, less than 30% of licensed chiropractors in BC even voted.
At the same time, over 200 British Columbia chiropractors have threatened legal action against the Board over a proposed mandatory vaccination policy.
